A Life of Freedom
The dove on the LCA Coat of Arms represents the Holy Spirit. In John 14:15-17 Jesus was speaking with his disciples when he said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.”
Jesus continued speaking of the Holy Spirit in John 16:13 when He said, “…when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.” and in 2 Corinthians 3:17 the scripture declares, “… And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
We see yet again that Truth and Freedom are forever linked, and that leads us back to the scripture that appears on the Libertas Christian Academy Coat of Arms…Veritas Vos Liberabit which in Latin stands for “The Truth Shall Make You Free”.
It is our prayer that each Libertas Christian Academy graduate will live in the freedom that Jesus Christ has purchased for those who believe!
